As the Manager of People Technology, you will be at the forefront of advancing technological solutions within Workday, focusing on the essential people processes and services. You will take ownership of the functional domains of Workday HCM and Compensation, including the reporting aspects of these areas. Your primary objective is to lead the configuration, development, and enhancement of Workday's core functionalities and automation initiatives. Throughout your responsibilities, you will ensure the comprehensive delivery of Workday development and maintenance, aligning with the People Tech strategy and Wolt's overarching goals.

Your position will emphasize collaboration across various functions, managing your projects effectively, and ensuring the successful implementation of solutions that enhance processes, improve scalability, and elevate user experiences.

Additionally, Wolt is currently involved in a significant Workday redeployment alongside DoorDash, integrating Workday into the unified organization of Wolt and DoorDash. This presents a unique opportunity to be part of a remarkable, global Workday implementation journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead your designated responsibility area within the Workday team, concentrating on the functional capabilities of Workday.
  • Spearhead digitalization and automation projects to improve the efficiency and scalability of people processes.
  • Manage development sprints, ensuring timely delivery of enhancements.
  • Contribute to the development of HR reporting and analytics capabilities.
  • Cultivate collaborative relationships and drive comprehensive solutions.
  • Own your functional areas within our strategic roadmap.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across diverse locations in a truly inclusive team environment.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6 years of professional experience with Workday, particularly in HR functionalities such as HCM and Compensation.
  • Familiarity with Workday Benefits and Extend is advantageous.
  • Strong grasp of core people processes and user-centric design principles.
  • Proficient in HR reporting and analytics, including advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English.
  • A proactive problem-solving mindset and demonstrated initiative.
  • Strong organizational abilities, skilled in managing requirements and prioritizing projects.
  • Previous experience in project leadership roles utilizing various project methodologies.
  • High self-leadership capabilities and strong interpersonal skills.
