Audible GmbH is seeking a Student Assistant in Catalog Operations to aid in various editorial and operational tasks essential for the effective publication and updating of Audible's catalog metadata.
In this role, you will collaborate with a team dedicated to the precise entry, modification, and upkeep of metadata, audio files, and visual assets for all offerings.
Your focus will be on quality assurance and management of affiliations through meticulous and accurate data entry of all product metadata, utilizing a range of tools to efficiently address various ad-hoc inquiries.

As a Student Assistant in Catalog Operations, your responsibilities will include...
- **Metadata Indexing and Editing**: Input, revise, proofread, and verify metadata records in our content management system before a product is made available on Audible marketplaces (including Audible stores, Amazon, iTunes). Key areas of focus will include a product's company identification, on-sale date, distribution rights, availability, pricing, provider, royalty earner, title, descriptive copy, and taxonomy, with particular emphasis on German and Italian or Spanish language products.
- **Catalog Maintenance and Request Processing**: Execute, manage, and confirm daily metadata update and correction requests received from providers, customers, and internal stakeholders through tickets or other channels, ensuring that all requests are addressed accurately and in a timely manner.
- **Product Relationships and Affiliations Management**: Enhance customer discovery by creating, verifying, and updating product relationships such as Category Assignments, Series Affiliations (e.g., linking works in a trilogy), Title Authority (grouping different versions of works), or Contributor Authority (bibliography).
