Your RoleAs an Information Security Advisor, you will provide guidance to our clients on IT security and preventive measures against cyber threats. You will also assist clients in establishing and maintaining Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and support them through certification processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting threat and risk assessments, evaluating IT organizations for vulnerabilities, and recommending appropriate improvement measures
- Implementing and reviewing Identity and Access Management systems
- Managing information risk and IT security (ISMS)
- Assisting in the development of policies and documentation
- Defining IT processes and strategies to secure IT systems, comply with legal requirements, and enhance IT governance and compliance
- Advancing processes and foundational documents
- Designing and delivering information security training sessions
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A degree in (Business) Informatics, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong analytical thinking and a keen interest in IT security, with the ability to understand IT security as an administrative process
- Certification as an auditor in ISO 27001 / BSI Basic Protection is desirable
- Collaborative working style and the ability to assertively communicate your ideas
- Preferably, initial knowledge of standards and regulations in Information Security / Data Protection (e.g., ISO 2700x, BSI Basic Protection, TISAX, NIST Cyber Security Framework, COBIT, EU GDPR)
- Proficient in both English and German
