Information Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Officer to join our team at Schulz & Cie. Consulting GmbH. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and maintenance of our information security guidelines and policies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain information security guidelines and policies in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating potential security threats.
- Collaborate with IT service providers to ensure compliance with information security standards.
- Participate in the development and implementation of emergency response plans for IT-related incidents.
- Initiate and monitor information security measures to protect our clients' data and systems.
- Contribute to projects with IT relevance and provide expertise on information security matters.
- Investigate and report on information security incidents to management.
- Design and deliver awareness-raising and training programs on information security best practices.
- Provide regular updates to management on the status of information security, including ad-hoc reports as needed.
- Professionally experienced colleagues with a strong background in information security and compliance.
- Expertise in EBA guidelines, BaFin announcements, MaRisk, and BAIT.
- Several years of professional experience in a related field.
- Previous experience working at an auditing firm or a BaFin-regulated financial company.
- A career opportunity as a CISO for nationally and internationally active financial and non-financial companies.
