Information Security Specialist

About the Role
As a Business Information Security Officer at ZEISS Group, you will be the central contact person for information security matters. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring the ISO 27001-compliant operation of the management system and promoting general information security awareness within the organization.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement information security strategies and policies
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure information security awareness and training
- Act as a liaison between management and technical teams on information security matters
- Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies to ensure the organization's information security posture remains strong
About You
- Strong background in information technology, computer science, or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze complex information security issues and provide recommendations
- Experience with information security frameworks, such as ISO 27001
- Fluent in English and German
