Your Responsibilities

As a Legal Intern in our Compliance Department, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our Legal & Compliance team, working within an international framework that supports operations in Germany, Luxembourg, France, and Poland.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Assist with various legal issues, particularly in consumer law, IT law, data protection law, and insurance contract law.
  • Perform legal research on forthcoming regulations, including but not limited to the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and the Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act).
  • Update and manage our contract and data protection management systems, ensuring deadlines are monitored effectively.
  • Contribute to the quality assurance of terms and conditions and other legal documents.
  • Address complaints and ensure they are resolved appropriately.
Your Ideal Background and Skillset
  • Currently enrolled in a German University or University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule), studying German Law (state examination, Bachelor's, or Master's), ideally in Semester 5 or higher.
  • Proficient in both German and English; knowledge of French is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, proactive attitude, solution-oriented, and a team player.
  • Ability to address and resolve complex issues, with the capacity to articulate them clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Meticulous, independent, and pragmatic approach to work.
