We are seeking a highly skilled Aviation Development Specialist to join our team at Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance GmbH. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing employee performance management and development.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Implement Performance Management Process: Develop and implement a performance management process in HR software to ensure optimal outcomes aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Oversee Employee Performance: Coordinate with employees, including Apprentices, Mechanics, and Avionics, to monitor their progress, provide support and guidance, and foster a culture of strong performance.
- Develop and Deliver Training Programs: Plan, organize, and deliver comprehensive development programs, workshops, and training sessions for all employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Identify and Address Performance Issues: Attend weekly development meetings, work closely with supervisors, and develop improvement plans to address any performance issues.
- Monitor and Analyze Performance Data: Regularly review staff logbooks, analyze performance data, and identify trends to recommend improvements in performance management processes.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in a Development role or a similar position in the aviation or technical services industry.
- Education and Certifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in the aviation or technical services industry, with a strong understanding of performance management principles and employee development techniques.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English, with the ability to adapt communication styles to effectively engage diverse audiences. Knowledge of the German language will be an advantage.
- Technical Skills: Experience in HR-related software programs, good knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
