Procurement Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Vestas, a global leader in renewable energy. As a key member of our Regional Procurement team, you will be responsible for negotiating and handling high-value spend for construction projects in the Northern Europe, Central Europe region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate negotiations in wind projects for critical spend categories, including Grouting, Site Facilities, Inspections, and other commodities.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for assigned regions, ensuring alignment with Vestas' goals and objectives.
- Support the definition of requirements, sourcing, RFQ, selection, and contracting processes.
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including Customer Project Execution, Engineering, HSE, Legal, and others.
- Manage the contracting process to ensure Vestas' interests are adequately represented and contractual coverage is ensured.
Requirements
- Experience in Indirect Procurement, with construction experience being an asset.
- Academic degree in engineering or business.
- Minimum 3 years' work experience in Purchasing or a related field, requiring supplier management and business skills related to negotiations and contracting.
