About the Role:

As a key member of the Freudenberg team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, customers, and the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough HSE audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement effective strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Design and deliver regular training programs and information sessions to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development of risk analyses and assessments, and provide expert guidance on HSE matters.
  • Analyze incidents and near misses to identify root causes and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Develop and maintain all relevant HSE documentation, including policies, procedures, and reports.
  • Represent Freudenberg in external HSE matters, working closely with regulatory bodies, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and promote our commitment to HSE excellence.

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or a related discipline.
  • Possess several years of relevant professional experience in HSE, with a strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Hold additional qualifications as an occupational safety specialist, such as a certification in HSE management.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English, with the ability to communicate complex HSE concepts to diverse audiences.
