About the Role:

CyberX GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general ledger accounting, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Post journal entries and maintain the chart of accounts
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports for senior management and external stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency
  • Participate in special projects related to financial analysis, forecasting, and process enhancements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
  • 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally with a focus on group accounting or retail operations
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS, German GAAP/HGB)
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and organizational abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Language Requirements:

Fluent in German and English is a must.
