About the Role:

CyberX GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Accountant General Ledger Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general ledger accounting, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial transactions
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Post journal entries and maintain the chart of accounts as needed
  • Participate in the month-end and year-end close processes for financials
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports for senior management and external stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to streamline group accounting processes, enhance efficiency, and maintain strong internal controls
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and profitability
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to inform business decisions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred
  • 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally with a focus/exposure to group accounting or on retail and D2C operations
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS, German GAAP/HGB)
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and organizational abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus
  • Fluent in German and English is a must
