Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Group Accounting team at CYBEX GMBH. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for preparing consolidated financial statements, performing analytical reviews, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements for the EMEA sub-group, including communication with financial auditors.
  • Perform analytical reviews of consolidated financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and trend analysis.
  • Prepare monthly group reporting for the EMEA sub-group.
  • Ensure accurate and timely intercompany reconciliation within EMEA and with Goodbaby Group.
  • Collaborate with Group Finance to ensure compliance with accounting standards and best practices.
  • Perform impairment tests for goodwill and financial investments.
  • Improve accounting processes and implement financial controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support Mergers & Acquisitions in the EMEA sub-group.
  • Evaluate and optimize existing processes and workflows to drive digitalization and automation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting and group accounting, preferably in an international environment.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and HGB accounting standards.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience with SAP HANA in financial reporting and management.
  • Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
