Lead the Future of Wafer Fabrication

Vishay Siliconix Itzehoe GmbH is seeking a highly experienced professional to lead our wafer fabrication operations. As Senior Director of Wafer Fabrication Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire front-end manufacturing process, from process development to production. Your expertise will drive the implementation of new technologies and the continuous improvement of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement process technology roadmaps to drive innovation and efficiency
  • Lead a team of process engineers, equipment engineers, and operators to ensure seamless production
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business development and operations
  • Manage key subcontractor relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of tools and materials
  • Interface with industry, universities, and national laboratories to stay up-to-date with the latest developments
  • Forecast and track fab operation costs to ensure they remain within budget

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in material science, chemistry, physics, or electrical engineering
  • Minimum 15 years of management experience in front-end wafer fab management positions
  • Experience in developing and implementing new fab from greenfield
  • Extensive knowledge of 8D, OCAPs, and work instructions
  • Familiarity with SPC, FDC, and automation systems
