Distributed Common Ground System – Army Field Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Distributed Common Ground System – Army Field Service Representative to join our team at GDIT. As a key member of our EMITS program team, you will be responsible for supporting the Distributed Common Ground System – Army (DCGS-A) Family of Systems (FoS) server and software integration, systems maintenance, exercise and operational support, and other technical support as required for systems in support of HQ USAREUR-AF-G2 and its subordinate units.
Key Responsibilities:- System Maintenance and Administration: Perform system configuration and modification, add, remove, and replace hardware and software items, system startup, shut down, backup and restore, database administration and maintenance, and system user access control.
- Technical Support: Provide on-site diagnostic and corrective actions, assist in obtaining and maintaining all related information security documentation to meet continuous monitoring and compliance criteria Authority to Connect (ATC), and perform analysis of system operations utilizing various operating systems and database management systems.
- Exercise and Operational Support: Support Army and joint level exercises, conduct fault detection, isolation, and correction of computer systems and individual peripheral devices, and troubleshoot and rapidly resolve problems with little to no oversight.
- Documentation and Communication: Create exceptional technical documentation and drawings, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure seamless system operation.
- Security Clearance: An Active TS/SCI Security Clearance is required.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in a related field is required.
- Certification: A valid DoD IAT II certification and Computing Environment certification or any Microsoft certification are required.
- Technical Experience: Experience with Active Directory (AD) administration, Windows and Linux operating systems, virtualization platforms using VMware technology, and database management systems is required.
- Additional Requirements: Eligibility for German TESA is required.
- Competitive Salary: A salary range of $89,250 - $120,750 is offered.
