Staff Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Data Analyst to join our Global Marketing team at Delivery Hero. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through data-driven insights and strategic analytics.
Key Responsibilities- Marketing Performance Analysis: Utilize advanced analytics tools to provide actionable insights on marketing performance, identifying areas of improvement and opportunities for growth.
- A/B Testing and Experimentation: Design and implement A/B testing and other experimental frameworks to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and optimize marketing spend.
- ROI Measurement and Optimization: Create tools, KPI frameworks, and reports to measure ROI of marketing spend, continuously monitoring and guiding marketing spend across various channels to maximize ROI.
- Customer Segmentation and Targeting: Analyze and improve customer segmentation to drive targeting strategies in local markets, increasing customer retention and driving business growth.
- Statistical Modeling and Forecasting: Create statistical models to project customer lifetime value, measure customer acquisition costs (CAC), and use analytics to reduce CAC and increase LTV.
- Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on data needs and create global guidelines on how data needs to be collected and consumed. Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
- 4+ years of experience in marketing analytics, with a focus on user retention for technology-driven consumer-facing companies.
- Strong proficiency in analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Google Big Query, Google Analytics, Tableau, SQL, Python/R).
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with A/B testing, attribution modeling, and other experimental design methodologies.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and strategies, including CRM, paid search, social media, and content marketing.
- Experience in agile development and methodologies.
- BS, MS or PhD in computer science, statistics, math, physics, business, etc.
- Expertise in developing and implementing naming conventions and tagging strategies to ensure data consistency in a global organization. Experience with market mix modeling.
