Key Responsibilities- Analyze operational data and collect insights from stakeholders to pinpoint inefficiencies in existing processes.
- Develop frameworks to optimize the balance between quality, speed, cost, and other critical factors.
- Propose innovative ideas for process enhancements.
- Conduct regular assessments of operational effectiveness, providing data-driven recommendations for sustainable improvements.
- Ensure consistent year-on-year growth in shipment volumes.
Each day, your focus will be on strategic goals – from boosting efficiency to enhancing reliability – while discovering inventive methods to achieve these objectives.
You will be part of a team leading significant projects aimed at standardizing our processes and improving our operational effectiveness.This role will require frequent communication with senior management and a broader group of stakeholders to define project requirements and provide updates on progress, risks, and impacts.
You will also develop communication strategies to keep all parties informed about the new processes you implement.As a Logistics Process Improvement Manager, you will be recognized as the authority capable of making substantial decisions. The role entails identifying issues, recognizing gaps and inefficiencies, and formulating solutions. In-depth analysis of data will assist you in uncovering challenges and monitoring the success of your enhancements. You will also lead a small team and be involved in overseeing their daily responsibilities.
About the Team
As part of the Amazon Customer Excellence Systems (ACES) team, we are dedicated to continuously enhancing the Amazon Logistics experience. We manage high-impact initiatives and contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of various logistics-focused projects.
Recent initiatives include the launch and expansion of micro-mobility delivery options (via e-cargo bike or on foot) across Europe and the introduction of electric vehicle delivery.
Utilizing data-driven tools, we can identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains, as well as strategies to minimize waste throughout the organization.
Our team supports field operations in launching new programs and technology-based solutions across Europe, enabling them to meet customer demands and foster customer-centric innovation.
We are also committed to enhancing the training experience for our teams, ensuring that the onboarding process for Associates, Delivery Partners, and Managers is as engaging as possible.
