Supply Development Plastic Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Supply Development Plastic Engineer to support our medical device client. This role requires strong engineering expertise in plastics, a keen understanding of supply chain processes, and the ability to drive supplier development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and evaluate materials and processes to ensure compliance with environmental and sustainability standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, and production, to support product development and manufacturing processes
  • Participate in project planning and ensure timely execution of supply development strategies
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and high-quality material delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in plastic materials and supply chain management
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Plastics Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written German & English
  • Knowledge of project management principles and tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
