Join Our Team as a Test Engineer

At OSB AG, we are looking for a dedicated professional who can take charge of our testing campaigns from start to finish. Your role will encompass:

  • End-to-End Management: You will oversee the entire testing process, from the initial request to the delivery of test data, ensuring adherence to our established testing protocols.
  • Collaboration with Design Teams: You will refine test requests in collaboration with our design team and develop comprehensive test concepts.
  • Test Setup Design: You will be responsible for the detailed design of the test and measurement configurations.
  • Coordination: You will coordinate with technicians, suppliers, and other support teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Test Execution Planning: You will plan the execution of tests, including procedures and risk assessments.
  • Hands-On Testing: You will execute tests and handle the post-processing of data and results reporting.
  • Documentation: You will create and review engineering documentation related to our test setups and outcomes.
  • Feedback for Improvement: You will provide insights and feedback to the design team for product enhancements.
  • Resource Planning: You will assist in resource and workload planning in coordination with interfacing teams.
  • Safety Advocacy: You will serve as a role model for maintaining a safe working environment in the laboratory.
  • Continuous Learning: You will consistently expand your knowledge about our test articles and methodologies, sharing insights with the team.

What We Expect from You

  • You hold a university degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (M.Sc/M.Eng preferred).
  • You possess strong knowledge and experience in propulsion testing, measurement methods, and instrumentation.
  • You have a solid understanding of data analysis and post-processing techniques.
  • Ideally, you are familiar with testing processes, methods, and best practices within the aerospace sector, particularly in testing multi-kW electrical machines.
  • Experience with CAD systems, especially Siemens NX, is a plus.
  • You are fluent in both German and English.
