Role Overview
As the Team Lead for Logistics Management, you will spearhead our operations in the German market, ensuring efficiency and excellence in our logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and guide the logistics team responsible for car transport operations in Germany.
- Coordinate daily transport and storage activities, collaborating with both partner carriers and internal resources.
- Address and resolve critical situations, including transport delays and storage capacity challenges.
- Meet and exceed our ambitious targets related to growth, costs, and lead times.
- Engage in the acquisition of new partner carriers and lead high-level contract negotiations.
- Design and optimize logistics networks and processes to incorporate new business lines effectively.
- Report directly to the Director of Consumer Logistics Europe, providing insights and updates on operations.
- Several years of experience in logistics or a dynamic startup environment.
- Initial experience in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple operational challenges under pressure.
- Exceptional communication skills for engaging with partners at all organizational levels.
- Experience or interest in contract negotiations.
- Strong analytical capabilities with a proven track record of solving complex issues.
- Fluent in German, with English proficiency at the C1 level.
