Contract Manager with Expertise in Public Tendering

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tender Manager to join our team at Swiss IT Security Group. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating public procurement processes and tenders for our clients in the public sector and private industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of procurement strategies and processes to ensure compliance with public procurement regulations and laws.
  • Manage and coordinate public procurement processes, including tendering, contract award, and contract management.
  • Review and monitor procurement processes to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including the German Public Procurement Act (GWB) and the EU Public Procurement Directive.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on public procurement law and regulations to internal stakeholders.
  • Analyze and evaluate tender documents, including technical specifications, commercial terms, and contract conditions.
  • Develop and maintain procurement databases and records to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement procurement strategies and processes.
Requirements
  • Relevant education and experience in procurement, public procurement law, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of public procurement regulations and laws, including the GWB and EU Public Procurement Directive.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and evaluate complex procurement data and information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication.
