Solar Project Supervisor

POSITION OVERVIEW
Our client, a prominent French enterprise specializing in solar carports, is expanding its operations in Germany with the establishment of a new German GmbH. You will be part of a developing German team, supported by our French counterparts, responsible for overseeing the execution of projects in line with established specifications. Your role will involve managing assembly teams and subcontractors across various domains including civil works, steel structures, and electrical installations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and all involved parties, participating in site construction meetings and preparing essential correspondence to facilitate project progression and dispute resolution.
- Manage financial aspects of projects, including site working hours, machinery budgets, and any additional work required.
- Conduct necessary reporting on project progress and additional works to support monthly invoicing processes.
- Order and oversee the delivery of required construction machinery and materials, ensuring timely availability on site.
- Supervise the management of work, including coordination of erection teams, subcontractors, activity planning, and reception of completed works.
- Ensure compliance with the Quality, Safety, and Environmental policies of the Group Ponticelli.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A degree in construction or equivalent experience is mandatory.
- Proven experience as a Work Supervisor, with knowledge in civil engineering, steel structures, and electrical systems.
- Fluency in German at a native level and professional proficiency in English, with the ability to draft technical communications.
- Competence in planning and basic Excel reporting.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective team management.
- Excellent communication and technical skills.
- Willingness to travel to various work sites (residing in South Germany is advantageous).
- A motivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong team spirit.
- Exceptional listening skills and the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A collaborative team player who contributes positively to the group dynamic.
