The Team:
This role is situated within the Strategy & Innovation division, specifically under the Market Intelligence team.
The Market Intelligence team plays a crucial role in consolidating competitive insights and managing Analyst Relations, while also contributing to White Space analysis and proposals.
You will collaborate with various teams and leaders across the organization, including product management, engineering, product marketing, innovation teams, field marketing, investor relations, and communications. Regular interaction with the leadership team and key internal stakeholders is essential.
The Role: As a Senior Program Manager for Analyst Relations, you excel in relationship cultivation and project oversight. You possess the ability to effectively communicate product and technology insights, customer benefits, and thought leadership, fostering impactful relationships with prominent analysts (such as Gartner, Forrester, IDC, Everest, etc.). Ideal candidates will demonstrate proficiency in creating and executing intricate program strategies and delivering content to analysts, reinforcing our leadership in process intelligence and related software sectors.
Your Responsibilities:
- Project Governance: Establish and uphold governance standards for our involvement in industry evaluations (e.g., Gartner Magic Quadrants, Forrester Wave reports, Everest PEAK Matrix), ensuring compliance with project management methodologies, policies, quality standards, and procedures.
- Monitoring and Performance Tracking: Develop and maintain a comprehensive overview/dashboard of all analyst activities, documenting daily inquiries, distributing pertinent reports to stakeholders, scheduling briefings, and compiling usage reports with leading analyst firms.
- Relationship Management: Identify, cultivate, and proactively manage relationships with key analysts and industry influencers, facilitating a bi-directional exchange with our internal teams and experts.
- Event Coordination: Organize and plan Analyst Strategy Days and analyst programs at customer-facing events.
- Collaborative Development: Work alongside subject matter experts across Product Management, Product Marketing, Corporate Communications, and the Executive team to craft the analyst-facing narrative and tailored relationship strategies.
- Content Utilization: Collaborate with social, content, and campaigns teams to leverage published analyst research and create compelling commissioned reports and materials to support brand and demand generation goals.
- Research Monitoring: Keep track of analyst research agendas and coverage, sharing relevant findings with company stakeholders and working with the competitive intelligence team.
- Internal Education: Inform internal audiences about key analyst reports, evaluations, and insights, ensuring employees are well-versed and able to effectively utilize relevant analyst reports.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Analyst Relations or a related field, with a proven track record of managing complex projects and portfolios (experience within an analyst firm is preferred).
- Strong grasp of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and industry best practices.
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, capable of motivating and guiding cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in synthesizing diverse agendas from internal stakeholders and analysts to foster a thriving analyst program.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with excellent communication and presentation capabilities, including experience presenting to business leaders or at events.
- Prior experience engaging directly with major IT industry analyst firms such as Gartner, Forrester, and IDC.
- Proven ability to deliver results across multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, often under tight deadlines.
- Strong business and technical acumen developed through professional experience, demonstrating initiative and proactive engagement.
- PMP or other relevant project management certifications are advantageous.
