Job Summary

Ottobock's Global IT is seeking a skilled Senior IT Project Manager to drive forward strategic and tactical IT projects, supporting the company's strong growth with scalable IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex IT projects across all phases, from initiation to rollout, using classic and agile project methods.
  • Oversee stakeholder management, risk and change management, time and budget control, and management of IT service providers.
  • Coordinate processes in close collaboration with specialist departments and Global IT colleagues.
  • Interact confidently with specialists and management to manage complex discussions and negotiation situations.
  • Take responsibility for multiple projects simultaneously (multi-project management).
  • Support the organization in optimizing and further developing project management processes and methods.

Requirements

  • Completed studies in business informatics, business administration, a natural science, or a comparable field of study.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in managing complex IT projects, preferably from a manufacturing company.
  • Experience in a regulated environment is an advantage, but not essential.
  • Broad basic understanding of IT technology and strong analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Experience working in complex application landscapes, SaaS, and cloud-based solutions, and possibly IT infrastructure.
  • Confident manner, assertiveness, and strong communication, cooperation, and presentation skills in German and English.
