About the Role

SAP is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to join our Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC) team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that SAP's entities in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland adhere to best-in-class compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on Compliance matters and ensure compliance principles are adhered to in Management decision-making.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Senior Leadership, administering and preparing local Compliance Committees.
  • Support the drafting of policies and conduct training on compliance topics, including avoidance of bribery and corruption.
  • Provide compliance oversight on sales activities, working with business to vet and validate sales, marketing, and third-party transactions.
  • Review and analyze Due Diligence for Partners and third parties, as well as review sponsorships, donations, and memberships.
  • Support Compliance Investigations and manage Consequence Management, formulating consequence options with Global Compliance leadership.
  • Stay substantively up to date on relevant laws and regulations, tracking and reporting compliance issues and KPIs to OEC management.
About You
  • Multiple years of relevant work experience, especially in compliance in an international environment or sales environment.
  • Corporate compliance department and/or law or audit firm experience highly desired.
  • Accredited lawyer or other experienced compliance professional, preferably with a legal background.
  • Fluent business and legal English and German language skills, with hands-on experience and attention to detail.
  • Ability to do in-depth research and interpret written guidelines and documents, with a strong grasp of codes of conduct and business ethics policies.
