Role Overview

The Client Relationship Sales Manager is accountable for promoting merchant services to businesses. Key responsibilities include pricing strategies, customer segmentation, delivering presentations, facilitating account sign-up and activation, and managing client accounts. This role involves responding to incoming customer inquiries regarding products and services while identifying opportunities for upselling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee a portfolio of clients with an annual net revenue value of $200,000 or more. Recognize revenue opportunities within designated territories through outreach to potential clients, marketing initiatives, and other necessary activities. Engage with prospects to identify key contacts, qualify leads, and navigate them through the sales process. Conduct needs analysis and planning at all prospect levels. Provide information in response to customer inquiries and deliver online presentations. Identify and secure additional product and/or service sales with existing clients to enhance the client relationship. Manage client expectations and relationships throughout the sales cycle.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of existing and prospective clients in alignment with company policies, including call notes, scheduled interactions, contact details, and other pertinent information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Keep management updated on all activities, including timely report preparation.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the current product/service portfolio and stay informed about changes and advancements within the payments sector.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Typically a Minimum of 2 Years Relevant Experience
  • Related Experience

  • B2B sales experience, cold calling experience, and a proven track record of success in previous sales roles
