As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll cycle, managing employee benefits, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Payroll Cycle Management: Prepare, review, and approve the monthly payroll cycle for Shoppers, Runners, and Central Teams, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Employee Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits, including health and employee insurances, sick leaves, pension plans, and other voluntary benefits.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant governmental regulations, including tax laws, labor laws, and benefits regulations.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage numerous internal and external stakeholders in the payment process, including employees, management, and external vendors.
- Process Improvement: Continuously develop and improve our payment process, including participation in tech initiatives to develop a scalable IT landscape.
- Education: Completed bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR, or a similar field. Preferably specialist Payroll certificates.
- Experience: 4-6 years of working experience in the fields of payroll, payments, HR, or finance.
- Skills: Good knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets, strong communication skills, ability to effectively set priorities and communicate payment progress, and excellent knowledge of German and English.
