We are currently in search of a Supply Chain Planning Specialist (m/f/d) for our Hamburg office, who will join the Supply Chain function and report directly to the Germany Supply Chain Planning Manager.
As a Supply Chain Planning Specialist, you will collaborate with the Supply Chain Planning Manager, Marketing, Sales, and Finance teams to oversee Demand & Supply Forecasting and optimize Amplifon Germany's complete inventory in terms of value and quantity.
Key Responsibilities:
Streamline and enhance the demand and inventory processes in Germany to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary actions. Assess current sales and supplier demand forecasts to generate system-based forecasts while analyzing historical demand, trends, and variances. Ensure collaboration with flow planning and Sales Area. Work alongside various departments (IT, marketing, sales, finance at both local and global levels) to achieve high levels of demand accuracy with effective inventory management. Conduct comprehensive forecasting of sales and supplier demand. Ensure optimal product positioning and quantities in stock to minimize inventory levels while adhering to Service Level Agreements. Monitor stock levels to reduce inventory across the network and ensure compliance with established Service Level Agreements. Prepare reports on demand and inventory metrics by tracking key performance indicators. Oversee the Inventory Planning process to create and implement inventory schedules and targets. Generate timely forecast accuracy reports, detailing root causes and external factors impacting demand, while working on enhancing forecast accuracy metrics. Develop and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for demand planning processes and systems. Assist logistics in generating reports/KPIs to monitor various indices.Candidate Profile:
A university degree in Management Engineering or Economics is required. Proven experience in Inventory Management, Supply Chain Planning, and Forecasting within Retail environments or Large Organized Distribution. Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of statistical models. Familiarity with key stock performance metrics, including turnover and margin contribution. Ability to leverage cross-functional skills to engage with diverse stakeholders to address medium and long-term inventory challenges. Comprehensive knowledge of stock management principles (accounting and cost management). Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of German is advantageous.What We Offer:
