Negotiation and Operations Manager

As a pivotal player in our organization, the Manager of Negotiation and Operations (Market Access) will be instrumental in driving our strategic initiatives.
The individual in this role will serve as a Market Access specialist, responsible for the preparation, coordination, and facilitation of pricing negotiations with the GKV-Spitzenverband. This will be accomplished in close collaboration with the Negotiation Leads and interdisciplinary negotiation teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the coordination, preparation, and support of reimbursement negotiations with the GKV-Spitzenverband (§130b SGB V), ensuring a comprehensive approach from initial preparations to final agreements and subsequent follow-ups.
- Manage and organize both internal and external documentation, including official negotiation materials.
- Oversee scheduling and agenda management, acting as the primary contact for negotiation teams regarding all technical and administrative inquiries.
- Prepare for and actively participate in meetings, training sessions, and simulations, providing support and insights during these activities.
- Coordinate and manage select projects and initiatives within the Market Access Department.
- Facilitate various departmental processes, including strategic planning, decision-making support, and operational management.
Qualifications
- A completed university degree in economics or a related scientific field.
- Ability to think strategically and conceptually, with skills in preparing complex content for alignment with negotiation teams, other departments, and senior leadership.
- Strong communication skills coupled with a collaborative spirit, allowing for effective interaction with diverse teams and individuals.
- A broad range of interests and a keen ability to learn quickly, with analytical skills that facilitate understanding of various contexts, including medical, legal, and economic aspects.
- Proven experience in project management, with the capability to coordinate complex projects at the departmental level.
- Fluency in German and proficiency in English.
