About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team at abakus Personal GmbH & Co. KG in München. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of components and managing key procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage a portfolio of essential components, ensuring their availability and quality
  • Lead the Request for Quotation process, utilizing your negotiation skills to secure the best possible conditions, and make well-informed supplier selections
  • Take charge of subcontracting services, overseeing their performance and continuously seeking opportunities for improvement
  • Analyze the cost breakdown of components and services, utilizing this data to make informed decisions and cost-saving strategies
  • Provide thorough cost justifications for suppliers and subcontracting services, making sure all expenses are well-documented
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field with a focus on procurement
  • Relevant professional experience as a Senior Procurement Specialist in a progressive procurement career that demonstrates your expertise in this field
  • A technical background or strong technical understanding, which will be advantageous in this role
  • The ability to collaborate effectively within teams to accomplish tasks and meet responsibilities
  • Exceptional communication skills, with fluency in both German and English, both written and spoken
