Position Overview:

As the Lead Manager for Support Functions and HR Controlling, you will serve as the primary liaison for performance oversight within the RWE Offshore Wind (OFF) Management & Support Function (MSF) divisions. Your responsibilities will encompass HR Controlling for the global offshore wind sector. Reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Controlling Offshore, you will have the opportunity to guide the RWE Offshore Wind enterprise as it navigates its significant global expansion by refining existing strategies to meet evolving demands and introducing innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising performance oversight and reporting for the Management & Support Functions of RWE Offshore Wind.
  • Enhancing the workforce planning process and MSF's mid- to long-term strategic planning.
  • Leading and developing a team of 8 Controlling specialists.
  • Creating reports, management presentations, and ad-hoc analyses for senior leadership.
  • Designing and executing technical HR frameworks and reporting standards while ensuring compliance with data protection and quality protocols.
  • Acting as the central contact for internal Service Level Agreements and cross-border billing procedures across the renewables segment and RWE Group.
  • Overseeing cost controlling governance, including the establishment of cost controlling frameworks and principles in SAP S/4 and CARS.
  • Managing initiatives aimed at enhancing Controlling processes across various teams and regions.

Candidate Profile:

  • Advanced degree in Economics, Finance/Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (M.Sc. or equivalent).
  • Several years of pertinent professional experience.
  • Strong analytical abilities coupled with a solid understanding of controlling methodologies and financial management principles.
  • Proactive in driving business improvements, with a hands-on and results-oriented approach.
  • Capable of thriving under pressure and prioritizing tasks effectively, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.
  • Skilled in team development through transitional processes.
  • A reliable and collaborative leader with high integrity, resilience, and a sense of humor.
  • Focus on employee development, fostering a customer-centric, initiative-driven, and solution-oriented team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage multiple stakeholders and coordinate international projects across various departments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a strong preference for knowledge of controlling systems, particularly SAP.
