Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Industry Segment Manager Energy to lead our energy industry segment and drive business growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a sustainable global market strategy, identifying additional growth areas, and leading a high-performing global team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a sustainable global market strategy to drive business growth
- Identify additional growth areas within the market and develop a tailored go-to-market approach
- Lead a high-performing global team of Industry Segment Managers (direct and indirect)
- Establish cross-divisional collaboration beyond departments and geographical regions
- Drive a compelling solution and service offering to achieve above-average sales growth
- Closely cooperate with Key Account Management to improve the in-house share
- Ensure spot-on market- and application-specific communication measures
- Represent the HARTING Technology Group in relevant committees and organizations
Requirements
- University degree in Technology or Economics (MSc, MA, MBA)
- Long-standing professional experience in a similar position and industry
- Experience in strategy development, budget planning, and business management
- Previous direct or indirect leadership responsibility for international teams
- Business fluency in English (written and spoken) and basic proficiency in German
- Familiarity with global corporate structures and working in matrix organizations
- Experience in stakeholder management and intercultural cooperation
- Self-motivated, persistent, resilient, open-minded, and hands-on personality
