Energy Transition Specialist

Publicis Sapient, a global leader in Digital Business Transformation, is seeking a seasoned Client Partner to join our exceptional client service team for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
As a Client Partner in our Energy & Commodities Industry, you will leverage the depth and breadth of our portfolio and the value-add of our extended capabilities through Publicis Groupe to identify new opportunities, new buying centers, and innovative ways to help our clients evolve for a more digital-enabled future.
Your ImpactYou will spearhead the energy transition as a Client Partner in our Energy & Commodities Industry, driving customer value and satisfaction at assigned accounts, acting as their Publicis Sapient leader by orchestrating relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop key customer stakeholder relationships and drive customer value and satisfaction at assigned accounts.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process for existing clients and grow new clients, ensuring profitable YoY Growth.
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual booking targets and ensure contractual arrangements meet defined commercial goals.
- Represent good industry knowledge to derive viable hypotheses on what the future pathways and steps in a digital business transformation of a client could be.
- Establish relationships at C/C-1 level to shape and drive an overall transformation agenda.
- Own the Publicis Sapient Account Plan and 360-degree relationship with each of your clients to deliver on measured sales and revenue growth, existing and new projects, and overall satisfaction.
- Develop a relationship map, 2 to 3-year vision and strategy, and manage tactical executions to sell the full Publicis Sapient portfolio.
- Foster deeper relationships with customer CXOs (beyond the CIO) through marketing campaigns, thought leadership activities, account references, and PR/media opportunities.
- Shape proposals and negotiate agreements focused on achieving mutually beneficial outcomes for Publicis Sapient and its clients.
- Advocate for your clients internally and ensure all opportunities are accurately reflected and forecasted in the Publicis Sapient CRM pipeline to provide visibility and cross-sell opportunities with all practices, capabilities, and alliance partner teams.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the Publicis Sapient GTM offerings and solutions, brand and network building, cross-client line of businesses, and industry trends.
- Demonstrate a high level of performance and results in goal achievement, account management, people and diversity development, business / financial / technical specialization, innovations, and contributions to the Publicis Sapient Growth Force Community.
- Contribute to Global Client Partner community and Growth Force community strategies, best practices, case studies, and education.
You will need:
- Several years of experience in the energy & commodities industry and within professional services with demonstrated success and growth as an account manager or client partner.
- Extensive experiences in growing and managing a Book of Business of +€3 Mio.
- Proven track record in consultative demand generation and business development in the industry.
- A passion for people, leadership, equality, and society.
- Ability to develop and nurture Trusted Partner-level relationships with both C-suite client contacts and internal stakeholders via a strong industry POV and understanding of client needs.
- Strong global leadership capability to manage a team of up to 20 and lead change while inspiring and developing others; ideally experiences as people manager.
- Strong learning mindset and drive for continuous evolution and self-improvement, including cultivating learning agility, development of personal adaptability, and pursuit of excellence.
- Flexible and mobile, able to work in a hybrid environment as well as travelling on site to clients as the role necessitates.
