Cloud Data Center Service Senior Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Specialist for Data Center Services to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our Global Cloud Infrastructure & Delivery (GCID) team, you will be responsible for leading services supporting Cloud Data Center operations, managing strategic data center related projects or workstreams within programs, and supporting the continuous evolution of SAP Cloud Data Center services to SAP Cloud Business strategy and new technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead services supporting Cloud Data Center operations, including optimization of data center capacity, data center related environmental sustainability, data center costs, and contracts.
  • Manage strategic data center related projects or workstreams within programs, including creating business cases, designing and planning, and executing and succeeding.
  • Support the continuous evolution of SAP Cloud Data Center services to SAP Cloud Business strategy and new technologies.
  • Collaborate with technical and business experts from GCID Data Center and Infrastructure Lifecycle Services team, as well as from GCID +1 infrastructure platform team, Controlling, Procurement, and SAP's Cloud application Lines of Business.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in IT, ideally in Cloud services.
  • Interest for data center and infrastructure technology.
  • Experience in project management and having lead projects in a content driven way.
  • Experience with creating business cases.
  • Proven English and German language skills.
