IT Application Support Specialist (m/w/d) - Medical Information Systems

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide second-level support for systems in the medical field for our facilities
  • Consult and support departments and key users in the clinical applications environment
  • Take responsibility for implementing application- and process-specific requirements and projects in our facilities
  • Administer and support software products in physical and virtual environments
  • Gather/detailed business requirements
  • Develop solutions for specific business problems/requirements
  • Coordinate the technical advancement of the M-KIS and its subsystems
  • Manage service providers for the implementation of solution architectures

Your Profile:

  • Graduate in Computer Science / Business Informatics / Medical Informatics or similar qualification
  • Alternatively, experienced M-KIS Key User with medical/nursing/administrative training in the hospital and a strong interest in IT
  • Excellent knowledge of M-KIS application and hospital information system administration
  • Knowledge of clinical and administrative processes in a medical facility and the required IT infrastructure
  • Minimum of two years of professional experience in the IT field of a medical facility
  • Experience in developing solution architectures
  • Initial experience in managing service providers is desirable
  • Social skills, high level of accuracy, service-oriented, communication skills, team spirit
  • Analytical thinking, structured work approach
  • Fluent in German (written and spoken)
