IT Application Support Specialist (m/f/d) - Medical Information Systems

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver advanced support for healthcare systems utilized in our facilities.
  • Advise and assist departments and key users within the clinical applications domain.
  • Oversee the execution of application-specific and process-oriented requirements and projects.
  • Manage and support software solutions in both physical and virtual settings.
  • Collect and articulate detailed business requirements.
  • Devise solutions tailored to specific business challenges and needs.
  • Facilitate the technical enhancement of the M-KIS and its associated subsystems.
  • Coordinate with service providers to implement solution architectures effectively.

Your Profile:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Medical Informatics, or a related field.
  • Alternatively, an experienced M-KIS Key User with a background in medical, nursing, or administrative roles in healthcare and a keen interest in IT.
  • Strong proficiency in M-KIS application and administration of hospital information systems.
  • Understanding of clinical and administrative workflows within a healthcare environment and the necessary IT infrastructure.
  • At least two years of professional experience in the IT sector of a healthcare facility.
  • Experience in designing solution architectures is advantageous.
  • Initial experience in managing service providers is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, customer-oriented mindset, effective communication, and teamwork abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to work.
  • Fluency in German (both written and spoken) is essential.
