Security Risk Management Lead

In this position, you will be responsible for safeguarding our operational facilities throughout the supply chain, ensuring the protection of our workforce and minimizing losses.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing emergency and crisis management strategies for your designated sites
  • Recognize potential risks and establish suitable corrective measures while adhering to legal and ethical guidelines
  • Collaborate with local management and external stakeholders on risk management initiatives
  • Guarantee compliance with Amazon's international security protocols at all sites
  • Oversee security and loss prevention initiatives at local, regional, and national scales

A Day in the Life:


As a Security and Loss Prevention Manager, you will partner with a team of security professionals to deliver security solutions to business clients across various sectors.

Your role will involve conducting security assessments, probing policy breaches and loss incidents, and working with external vendors to uphold security systems.

The Security and Loss Prevention division at Amazon is dedicated to safeguarding our employees, customers, assets, and brand integrity by mitigating security and loss risks.

We protect the Amazon supply chain, respond to emerging threats, and conduct thorough investigations of security incidents to prevent future occurrences.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Relevant background in security or risk management
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Advanced German language skills and intermediate English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Higher education degree or industry certification
  • Experience with physical security systems and investigative methods
  • Background in retail, warehouse, distribution, delivery services, or supply chain management
  • Data analysis capabilities
  • Valid driver’s license
