Position Overview

We're seeking a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in data analysis and machine learning. You will be tasked with exploring and drawing insights from data lakes, designing and deploying insight pipelines, and instrumenting ML models. You'll be working on cutting-edge problems at the intersection of security, SaaS development, and analytics.

In this role, you'll be part of the founding team and define the trajectory of the company: while focused on data analysis and ML, as part of a small team, you'll be able to participate in all aspects of SaaS development (e.g., frontend, backend, tooling, ETL), and have an active voice on the direction of the product.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Found, take ownership, and lead a greenfield data insights component;
  • Design, build, and own core algorithms powering our product;
  • Experiment, architect, and build core ML infrastructure platforms to handle production scales of data.

What We're Looking For:

  • At least 5 years of industry experience, including relevant data analysis experience. You've written and supported services in production.
  • You have tangible experience in instrumenting and fine-tuning ML models (e.g., classification, anomaly detection).
  • You have tangible experience with modern data tooling (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, DBT, Spark, Dataframes).
  • Excellent technical written and verbal communication, including to non-technical parties.
  • End-to-end hat wearing: Within a talent-dense founding team, every member should be willing to handle tasks from infrastructure setups, troubleshooting hosted environments, tooling configuration, unit and integration testing, solution architecture proposals, product direction participation, and customer support.
