About the Role
Munich Re is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Corporate Security team as a Corporate Security Specialist. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the global mandate and local implementation of security measures.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Corporate Security team in implementing global security measures and facilitating local adaptations.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Security team to develop security concepts and solutions, as well as plan and coordinate new installations of security technology and administration of the access control system.
- Update and adapt work guidelines for external service providers and support the creation of concept management presentations.
- Coordinate and control the alarm center, as well as coordinate with customers and service providers, and monitor the effectiveness of security-relevant processes.
- Support the introduction of a global emergency management system.
- Support the creation of emergency teams training & exercises.
Requirements
- Academic background in security-related studies, disaster response, political sciences, or organizational science.
- Experience in work environments dealing with emergencies, such as rescue services, police, or military.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint. Ideally, some experience with working with GIS software.
- Strong technical understanding.
- Experience in project management and high security awareness.
- Distinct analytical and conceptual way of working.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
