About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Security Specialist to join our team at VOLENTUM Deutschland GmbH. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust security measures to protect our company's infrastructure and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive security strategy to safeguard our IT systems and networks.
  • Implement and manage security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with our development team to ensure that security is integrated into all aspects of our software development lifecycle.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies, and recommend new security solutions to the management team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT security, with a focus on network security and system administration.
  • Strong knowledge of security protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Experience with security tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
