Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Test-Manager Software to join our team at ABAKUS IT-SOLUTIONS. As a Test-Manager Software, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our customers' IT software systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out test management based on the ISTQB, with a focus on test planning, resource estimation, and risk assessment to ensure the punctual completion of the test order.
  • Assume QA responsibility for several sub-projects within a considerable software development project.
  • Control the test activities preceding the commissioning of new or adapted software components.
  • Develop the test strategy, create test concepts, define test methods and tools, plan tests, coordinate test activities, track defects, and document activities.
  • Communicate at all levels, coach, and mediate between all parties involved in delivery and testing.
  • Prepare reports and proposals regarding continuous improvement and 'lessons learned' in the testing process.
Requirements
  • A technical degree or at least 5 years of professional experience in software quality assurance.
  • Certification in test management according to ISTQB Advanced Level.
  • Significant project experience in planning and quality assurance of large software projects.
  • Very good knowledge of the release management process and software lifecycle management.
  • High-level communication skills, especially moderation and motivation skills.
  • Analytical and structured approach.
  • Very good command of written and spoken German (C2 according to the European Framework of Reference for Languages).
