Job Title: Technical Operations Manager / Master Craftsman (Electrical Engineering)

Job Summary:

The Technical Operations Manager / Master Craftsman is a key role within our company, responsible for overseeing and managing all craft activities. This position ensures that all work is completed on time and to a high standard, while also taking responsibility for technical decisions, occupational safety, and the organisational, personnel, and business aspects of the craft business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and execution of craft orders, ensuring timely completion and professional quality.
  • Intervening when necessary to ensure the quality and safety of work.
  • Carrying out specialised craft activities that require special expertise.
  • Responsibility for compliance with occupational safety and accident prevention regulations.
  • Implementation and monitoring of measures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Technical decisions and emergency management, ensuring compliance with legal regulations for manual work.
  • Availability at all times in urgent and emergency cases to take necessary measures and solve problems quickly.
  • Organisation, human resources management, and business administration, including cost control, material procurement, and budget monitoring.

Requirements:

  • Professional competence, including excellent technical skills and in-depth specialist knowledge in electrical engineering.
  • Leadership and management skills, including the ability to motivate, train, and develop employees.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making ability, including the ability to make quick and informed decisions in critical situations.
  • Business knowledge, including basic business knowledge to control and optimise operational processes.
  • Language skills, including good to very good knowledge of English.

Education:

  • Completed Master's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Additional qualifications in occupational safety or business administration are an advantage.

Professional Experience:

  • Several years of professional experience in a skilled trade, ideally in a management position.
  • Experience in managing a craft business or team and in organising work processes.
