Job Description

RWE Supply & Trading GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Product Owner to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned professional with expertise in ServiceNow architecture, scripting, and web technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership in the planning, design, and implementation phases of ServiceNow projects.
  • Offer consulting services to internal teams and platform users, providing expertise on ServiceNow best practices, capabilities, and implementation strategies.
  • Customize and configure the ServiceNow platform to align with business processes and requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with ServiceNow vendors, staying informed about new releases, obtaining support when needed, and participating in user communities.
  • Monitor platform performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize system resources for optimal responsiveness.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices, conduct regular security audits, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Understand ServiceNow license modules, contracts, and support in the preparation of contract amendments.
  • Act as a single point of contact (SPOC) for ServiceNow related communications.

Requirements

  • IT education with several years of experience or a degree in (Business) Informatics.
  • Professional understanding of ServiceNow architecture, scripting (JavaScript), and web technologies with current certifications at best.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow across the organization.
  • Strong ability to design and implement workflows and automate business processes using ServiceNow tools.
  • Knowledge of security best practices, ability to implement and enforce security policies, and conduct regular audits.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and support teams effectively.
  • Experience in managing projects related to ServiceNow implementations, upgrades, or customization using agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks with Scrum.
  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English.
