PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The role is designed to enhance the training and educational efforts of personnel operating within the company's facilities and programs across a designated geographic region. This position involves delivering standardized, competency-based training and development initiatives, including new employee orientation, preceptor training, facility-specific in-services, and programs focused on clinical quality and customer service, all aimed at fostering superior patient care and achieving broader organizational objectives.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Aligns educational initiatives with regional, group, and corporate business objectives through all undertakings.
- Complies with nursing practice standards, company policies, procedures, and all relevant regulatory and ethical guidelines.
- Directs all training programs towards cultivating a culture of patient safety, clinical excellence, and improved patient outcomes, adhering to company and industry standards.
- Cultivates the skills and knowledge necessary to educate staff on all chronic kidney disease treatment modalities.
- Fosters a culture of continuous learning through professional development programs, coaching, and the use of available technologies.
- Collaborates with stakeholders at all levels to schedule, deliver, and implement educational programs and processes for both new and existing staff.
- Employs suitable educational methods and generational learning techniques to effectively deliver, support, and assess training.
- Partners in the execution of action plans through to resolution, as appropriate.
- Utilizes facilitation techniques and a variety of resources to create engaging and immersive learning experiences.
- Maintains open, effective, and timely communication with both internal and external stakeholders, including management, facility teams, government agencies, and healthcare providers.

- Supports metric and KPI initiatives with timely and accurate data documentation, reporting, and ongoing quality enhancement processes.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
- The physical demands and environmental characteristics described here are representative of those encountered by an employee while performing the essential functions of this position. This role requires travel between assigned facilities and various locations within the community.
- The work environment is typical of a healthcare facility, with controlled air temperature and moderate noise levels. Exposure to infectious and contagious diseases may occur. The position necessitates frequent, prolonged periods of standing, and the employee must be capable of bending and lifting items weighing up to 30 lbs. with assistance for heavier equipment.
- This position entails approximately 35-80% travel.
SUPERVISION:

EDUCATION AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Advanced degree (BSN or MSN) preferred.
- Current RN state licensure in primary state of residence.
- Must obtain and maintain RN state licensure in assigned states as directed.
- Must meet practice requirements in the state of employment.
- Minimum of 1 year of dialysis experience as a Registered Nurse.
- CDN or CNN certification preferred, or must attain within 18 months of employment.
- Successful completion and maintenance of CPR BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification, along with all required ongoing education and training.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Monday - Friday schedule, no nights/weekends/holidays/on-call duties.
