Exceptional Customer Service with Maximum Quality
We are seeking a highly qualified professional to join our team as a Senior Laboratory Management Professional in our Heidelberg location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the Hospital Management department and overseeing the following key areas:
- Providing expert advice to hospital management and clinical service providers on laboratory medicine and economics, and actively supporting ongoing change processes in the hospitals we serve.
- Providing technical support and development for hospital laboratories and point-of-care diagnostics.
- Selecting, implementing, and maintaining laboratory information systems in hospitals, including point-of-care networking and order-entry systems.
- Leading, supporting, and developing the team members assigned to the department.
- Continuously updating knowledge and developing business models in line with current healthcare reforms.
- Managing existing customer relationships.
- Preparing monthly performance and cost reports, as well as developing and analyzing the monthly plan vs. actual comparison.
- Active participation in projects aimed at operational and strategic company development, particularly in hospital cooperation.
- Participating in various hospital meetings (laboratory commissions, hygiene commissions, chief physician meetings, etc.).
- Contributing to the development of offers, calculations, and statistics.
- Preparing the company's economic plan, including detailed commentary.
- Monitoring departmental processes and performance using key performance indicators.
- Developing and delivering technical presentations.
About You
We are looking for a highly qualified professional with:
- A completed medical specialty training in laboratory medicine, microbiology, infection epidemiology, or a related field (preferably), or a completed natural science or business degree.
- Experience in hospital laboratory management or laboratory analytics is desirable.
- Knowledge of hospital organization and billing (DRG).
- Experience in the healthcare sector.
- Project management experience.
