We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team at Optimus Search. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance backend systems and APIs.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop robust backend systems and APIs using Python and relevant frameworks.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and frontend developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
- Contribute to the technical architecture and long-term strategic planning of our systems.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with Python.
- Experience with backend frameworks/libraries (e.g., Django, Spring Boot, Flask, FastAPIs).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Language proficiency: English (fluent), German (C1 or native).
- Competitive salary up to €85,000.
