Key Responsibilities
Adjust payroll processing in Germany to comply with legal, tariff, and corporate requirements Manage Evonik's long-term accounts and pension schemes (administration, conceptual development, payroll processing, and specifications for evaluation programs and account statements) Support the Centric audit tools MADAP/PLK/PLX (design audit criteria, implement, conduct functional testing, document, and update) Provide guidance to the HR department regarding the feasibility of modification and enhancement requests in Payroll Germany Develop solutions for changes and functional enhancements in Payroll DE and oversee their implementation Participate in cross-functional HR IT projects related to M&A and carve-out activities; conceptualize, implement, and monitor payroll-related matters and necessary data transfers Coordinate changes initiated technically (e.g., SAP, subsystems, tools) or professionally (law, GBV, regulations) that impact processes, focusing on GermanyQualifications
A degree (university/university of applied sciences) in (business) informatics or a comparable qualification or relevant practical experience Extensive experience in the SAP HCM environment, particularly in payroll accounting, quality assurance, and pension models (e.g., long-term accounts) Strong understanding of collective bargaining agreements, preferably within the chemical sector, as well as the legal framework governing HR Preferred experience in project management within a national and ideally international context Proficient in German and ideally possess good written and spoken English skills
