Key Responsibilities
Adjust payroll processing in Germany to comply with legal, tariff, and company standards Manage Evonik's long-term accounts and pension schemes (administration, conceptual development, payroll processing, and reporting) Assist with the Centric audit tools MADAP/PLK/PLX (designing audit protocols, execution, functional testing, documentation, and updates) Provide guidance to the HR department regarding the feasibility of modifications and enhancements in Payroll Germany Develop solutions for modifications and functional enhancements in Payroll DE and oversee their implementation Participate in comprehensive HR IT projects related to M&A and carve-out activities; conceptualize, implement, and monitor payroll-related matters and necessary data transfers Coordinate technical (e.g., SAP, subsystems, tools) or professional (legal, GBV, regulations) changes affecting processes with a focus on GermanyQualifications
Completed studies (university/university of applied sciences) in (business) informatics or a comparable qualification or relevant practical experience Extensive experience in the SAP HCM environment with a focus on payroll accounting, quality assurance, and pension models (e.g., long-term accounts) Strong understanding of collective bargaining agreements, preferably in the chemical sector, along with knowledge of the legal framework for HR Experience in project management in both national and ideally international contexts is desirable Proficient in German and ideally possess good written and spoken English skills
