Key Responsibilities
Adjust payroll processing in Germany to comply with legal, tariff, and company standards Manage Evonik's long-term accounts and pension schemes (administration, conceptual development, payroll execution, target specifications for evaluation programs, and account statements) Assist with the Centric audit tools MADAP/PLK/PLX (design audit rules, implement, conduct functional testing, document, and update) Provide guidance to the HR department regarding the feasibility of modifications and enhancement requests in Payroll Germany Develop solutions for modifications and functional enhancements in Payroll DE and oversee their implementation Participate in cross-functional HR IT projects related to M&A and carve-out activities; design, implement, and monitor payroll-related matters and necessary data transfers Coordinate changes initiated by technical (e.g., SAP, subsystems, tools) or professional (law, GBV, regulations) means that affect processes with a focus on GermanyRequired Qualifications
Completed studies (university/university of applied sciences) in (business) informatics or a comparable qualification or relevant practical experience Extensive experience in the SAP HCM environment, particularly in payroll accounting, quality assurance, and pension models (e.g., long-term accounts) Strong understanding of collective bargaining agreements, preferably within the chemical sector, as well as the legal framework governing HR Preferred experience in project management in both national and ideally international contexts Proficient in German and ideally possess good written and spoken English skills
