Join Our Team as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Nikon SLM Solutions. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will play a crucial role in the development of our next-generation LPBF machines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize and develop advanced data preparation tools to support material parameter and process development engineers.
  • Define and develop software requirements for hatching and scanning parameters to maximize the potential of Nikon SLM next-generation machines.
  • Collaborate with Nikon SLM Solutions' software partners, engineers, and scientists in an international environment to enhance software products for our customers.
  • Provide support for internal and external customers in early benchmarking of new materials and data preparation products.
  • Plan, conduct, and analyze experiments using Nikon SLM next-generation machines, employing statistical tools for data analysis.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to address customer needs related to data preparation and material parameter development.
  • Define future requirements for next-generation LPBF machine products within Nikon SLM Solutions with a focus on data preparation, scanning strategies, and tool pathing.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree or Equivalent Certification in Engineering Field or Materials Science (e.g. Mechanical, Aerospace, Software) with a focus on LPBF.
  • ~4+ years of professional experience in the field of data preparation for additive manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of hatching and scanning parameters for material development in additive manufacturing.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience working in an international environment.
