Business Controller

About the Role
The Business Controller will play a key role in supporting the Basic Material & Polymers business operational and strategic decisions. This position will be focused on the total European value chain, encompassing raw material sourcing, toll compounding, and Marketing/Sales activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to inform business decisions
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improvement
- Manage and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for optimization
- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business performance
- Provide financial guidance and support to business leadership
- Manage and maintain financial systems and processes
- Develop and implement financial reporting and analytics tools
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in financial planning and analysis tools and techniques
- Business fluent in English and German
